Visit Wigmore Church and Castle

Remember the church and castle are open to visitors every day. There is plenty to see and lots of wonderful walks. The steps up to the castle keep are closed for repair at the moment but this will not spoil your enjoyment. You can explore everywhere else and entrance is free.

Old Market Hall, Shrewsbury

Huge thanks to the technical team at Old Market Hall, Shrewsbury for spending so much time with us today. What a stunning venue - a wonderful example of how to adapt a Grade I listed building into a popular and successful meeting place. We learned a lot and will no doubt will have lots more questions for you. This is a wonderful place, if you haven't visited then make sure you do.

Wigmore Centre – Living History

The Wigmore Centre CIC has been supported by a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund. Thanks to National Lottery players, we have been able to commence the development phase of the transformation of St James’ Church into an Interpretive, Heritage and Community Centre.
